SOME TIPS FOR WINTER
Now that winter is fast approaching, maintaining your dogs coat is very important.
You can still have a long clip for winter, but your dogs coat must be free of knotting. The more knots, the closer the clip. So brush, brush, brush! Get yourself a good quality Soft Slicker Brush and wide tooth comb from your Vet or Pet Supply Store. It will last you for many years.
If you can, after your dogs bath, blowdry the coat and brush.
If you bath a dog that is matted, this will only make it worse. Ultimately, for comfort, your dog will need a short haircut to relieve the discomfort of matting. Remember, a badly matted coat can be very painful for your dog.
If you need to get a short clip, dont worry, it will grow back in no time!
Just like my dogs, they love nothing better than to be clean and fresh, a clean pup is a happy pup!
